Draw Paint Print Life!
Life drawing is my primary focus and the human form is for me a long held fascination.From simple line drawing to painted sketches the intense scrutiny of the form is always rewarding. This exploration can later translate into larger scale paintings or making prints.
I love to explore new practices and experiment with them so that I can incorporate them into life studies and abstracts. Since the pandemic the need for an artistic outlet and meditation led me to create colourful patterns . These were created from the drawing a grid and then applying geometric shapes.The meditative designs are kept in sketchbook form with the occasional escapee becoming small paintings,mugs and a calendar .
Past exhibitions have been with Cornwall Open Studios and Drawn to the Valley .
