Intuitive Figurative Dreamscapes.
I work intuitively, and my paintings emerge through the creative process as a form of personal expression. I returned to painting after a 30-year gap, originally having studied fine art and painting in 1989 at the Sir John Cass School of Art in Whitechapel.
I currently live in West Devon within the beautiful Tamar Valley close to Dartmoor. I feel nurtured and inspired by the magnificent landscape that surrounds me every day.
My work is mainly figurative based and often set within a primordial landscape.
An emerging 'dreamscape' connecting to both my inner and outer experiences.
I currently work mostly with acrylic on canvas, and more recently started to experiment with other mediums.
I accept requests for private art commissions, and welcome studio visits to view my work by appointment.
