In 2016 I moved to Dartmoor. I love colour and light, patterns and textures, and just looking at the incredible sights that every day on Dartmoor brings. The drama of wind, stormy skies, rain, rainbows and ever-changing colour.

I started to draw again and slowly found my way back to painting, this time with acrylics. I’ve been focussing on how light affects colour. It’s fascinating and I’m starting to understand the many layers of colour that make up the depth I’m looking for. It is an ongoing exploration …
