During surgery for heart valve repair I suffered a stroke; then heart failure shortly after.  This curtailed my work life and main hobbies but...there is always hope! 

At secondary school I was considered a bit of an Artist and advised to apply for Art Collegebut the idea fizzled away and my parents advised me to “get a proper job!” 

I dabbled in oil painting when I could find the time but now I have another chance to develop a long forgotten ability.

Currently I tend to paint,I  in the main, original watercolour pictures of Dartmoor, It brings me great pleasure and I intend to continue.

I have  painted portraits using oils in the past, and hope to return and develop this aspect in the future.
